Overview
Reviews left on your Google Business Profile locations flow into Intercom as conversations, with the star rating preserved as a tag and a custom attribute. Google does not expose review webhooks, so we poll the Business Profile API on a schedule.
Authentication
Sign in with the Google account that manages your Business Profile using OAuth 2.0, then choose which locations to connect. One Google login can own several Business Profile accounts, such as a personal account plus any location groups shared with it, and we list the locations across all of them.

Tagged with the star rating, for example 5 star review, and the score is written to the conversation as a Stars attribute. A rating with no written text still relays, with the score as the message body.
Per-star relay rules let you choose which ratings reach Intercom, so you can route only the reviews that need a reply. Reviewers who chose to stay anonymous on Google appear as Anonymous User.
