Improved channel addition flow
Adding a channel is being rebuilt around a searchable catalogue with requirements up front.
- A searchable catalogue of platforms, grouped by category
- A detail panel before anything connects: requirements, what happens next and any third-party setup
- Licence pricing for every tier, monthly and annual, with your current volume discount and the next step up
- Workspaces without a subscription will be sent to subscription settings rather than a connection that cannot complete
We will be revamping the Add Channel flow. Instead of a flat list, you will choose from a searchable catalogue of platforms, grouped by category and searchable by name or by what the platform does. Choosing a platform will open a detail panel before anything is connected, showing what the connection needs, what happens once it is made, licence pricing for every tier on both monthly and annual billing with the annual saving worked out, the volume discount your workspace currently earns and the next step up, and anything you need to do on the third-party platform first. If your workspace has no active subscription, the Add Channel button will take you to your subscription settings rather than letting you start a connection that cannot complete.
